Comments About This Piece
As with all of Virgil’s Carvings, The Rainbow Trout 1 Carving is a one of a kind work of Art. Basswood is a beautiful natural light wood when finished in a clear natural finish. Although the base and the fish in this carving is of the same wood there is a slight difference in color due to light stain applied to the base for contrast.
